On Friday, 18 December, 2009, Idol finalist James Johnston will perform live on the lawns of Harrigan’s Irish Pub at Harrington Waters.
Singer/songwriter James shot to fame in the 2009 series of Channel Ten’s Australian Idol. Finishing third in the series, Wingham resident James said that he is looking forward to the concert and that it will be a great way to say thank you to his supporters.
“I’m really excited to be playing in front of my home crowd and meeting my fans,” James said. “It will be a fantastic night of great music and some laughs as I share my music and stories of the rollercoaster ride I have just had with Idol.”
On December 18, the concert area gates at Harrigan’s Irish Pub will open at 5.00pm. The support act, Hydrophonics will start at 6.00pm and James Johnston will perform from 7.30pm.
For the ultimate outdoor experience, it’s recommended that concert guests bring a picnic blanket or low chairs to sit on. The concert is strictly no BYO, but food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
