Supremely popular Hunter Valley Gardens.
The first of
Harrigan’s Irish Pubs was created in the Hunter Valley Gardens in
Pokolbin, New South Wales. It is set in a 25-hectare wonderland of
spectacular international display gardens that offer a sensation of
sights, colours, fragrances and adventures, of a standard not seen
elsewhere in Australia. Infact Hunter Valley Gardens was inducted into
the Tourism NSW Hall of Fame in 2007 for being the Best Significant
Tourist Attraction in New South Wales.
The 12
themed gardens allow visitors to take ‘a trip around the world’ as they
explore each new garden. You’ll be surrounded by a lavish array of
colour and perfume in the magnificent Rose Garden, where you’ll find
more than 8000 roses.
A 10-metre
waterfall cascades into a lavish pool in the Sunken Garden. The
Oriental Garden spans over one hectare and features a traditional
pagoda, which is surrounded by natural Australian granite. You can
relive your childhood with all your favourite fairytale characters in
the Storybook Garden. And there are still eight others to amaze and
delight. Apart from the gardens, there are a host of other attractions,
of which Harrigan’s takes pride of place. Young or old, from near and
from far, all manner of people enjoy the Hunter Valley Gardens every
day of the week.

Stunning Calypso Bay in South East Queensland.
The recently opened Harringan’s Irish Pub at Calypso Bay is a stunning mix of Irish charm and Aussie waterfront heaven.
Calypso
Bay, itself, offers you the life you’ve always wanted. No rush hour. No
stress. In fact, the only deep water you’ll get yourself into is right
at your back door.
You have direct boating access to The
Broadwater and Moreton Bay. No bridges, no speed limits. So you can be
on the open water in next to no time.
Already a wonderful
place to live, Calypso Bay is still a fairly new area. By the time it’s
finished, residents will have a full shopping village, complete with
supermarket, restaurant, cafes and specialty retail shops; as well as a
9 hole dual tee golf course; a community chapel and a 300 berth marina.
Despite having a full range of conveniences, Calypso Bay is
surrounded by 50 hectares of pristine environment. And, because it’s a
habitat reserve, it will stay as natural and unsullied as it began.
A
further 50 hectares of Calypso Bay is beautifully landscaped and
planted parklands, with walking paths meandering through green and open
space. Right at the centre, will lie the golf course.
Combine
that with the fact that the majority of home sites are right on the
water, with wider than normal canals, and you will have a place where
residents will enjoy unequalled tranquility. And a quality of life
that’s almost impossible to beat.
